Must Try Harder!!!

That's what all my school teachers used to say and I'm still the same!! I get distracted - if it's not mum then I tend to find something To Do that's not on my To Do list!! This is probably why I didn't fix my lap top in time to post these cards. This one should have been for Christmas 24 #003 Challenge - Dry and/or Heat Embossing It's from the Stampin' Up set Shine Bright and the image is heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I then coloured it using my Blends - a few sparkly gems add the finishing touch. This card is for the current challenge over at Rainbow Card Challenge This is an easel card using the Poppy Dies from the new mini catalogue from Stampin' Up - can't wait to use them in red! Thanks for stopping by today - see you soon - J xx

I Wish..........

........that I knew how to fix my computer! Well it might not be the computer, it might be my internet, or Google or Chrome but whatever it is I wish it would work properly! I have been trying to post for days - it's a post I started on my iPad but it wouldn't post properly - kept missing things off or not publishing the pictures - it's been a nightmare! To make things harder I've been tied up looking after mum. We've been juggling hospital and doctors appointments and mum does'nt want to go - at any cost! She is very grumpy at the moment and very rebellious - she does'nt want to take her new tablets and every time that I've tried to blog and an obsticle got in the way I'd think stuff it - I can't be bothered with this at the moment and I'd leave it. Self care has gone out the window. Wearing make-up, eating properly and sleeping are difficult and weight is piling on again.  I'm lucky that I have good friends willing to lis

Happy February

Good morning - it’s a glorious day here in rural Herefordshire and I am enjoying a weekend away at my daughter’s. Life’s good at the moment. I’ve been taking care of myself much more and it seems to be paying off. Fibro flares are minimal and my energy levels are quietly increasing. I have developed myself a gentle routine and I’m feeling in control again after a long time. I will come back later and share what I am doing  - it’s not perfect and it’s still evolving but I’m in a happier place than I was. Today I will be popping in to Hereford City for some retail therapy and I’m going to treat myself to something utterly beautiful and frivolous!  Thank you for listening to me whitter on - see you soon with some challenge cards. J xx
