It's a new challenge in  The Male Room  and this week we are going with Valentine - for men only of course! This is the card I've made for my hubby - he never reads my blog (I know how rude!) so I know he won't see it before next Friday! Clive loves hares - the more mystical the better, so I've created this one in the moon light - heart shaped. Good morning everyone, March is marching on and it's Monday again - time for another challenge over on the  Make My Monday  challenge blog. This week the challenge is to create a clean and simple card using one colour and it's various tones - MONOTONE. Here is my card My colour of choice was Island Indigo, I inked my stamp and then stamped it on to scrap paper before stamping on to the card stock. The sentiment was stamped over the top - full strength. A little sponging was added to the edges along with some stamped butterflies. A few sparkly gems were added for a finishing touch. Good morning - it's Monday and that means another challenge over on the  Make My Monday  challenge blog. This week Caz has chosen our theme and she wants to see cards or projects using the colours Here is my card I have used a stamp today that I have never used before (hanging my head in shame), what's more it's retired and unfortunately not available any more however, that's no reason not to use it! It's from last year's Hostess selection 'Simply Soft'. the flower branches were stamped in black Stazon ink onto Rose card stock, the flowers were then coloured with a white gel pen - this gave them a lovely pale pink colour. The card was then mounted on to black and a sentiment added. Over on the  Make My Monday  challenge blog today the theme is still AUTUMN SUPPLIES and this week we want to see projects using VELLUM. Here's my card I started with a card base measuring 5" x 5" and I added a layer of Pumpkin Pie card stock. On to this I added my vellum. It's some I have had in my stash box for many, many years! It's pre-embossed and I just added some colours using my Stampin' Write markers. I tried stamping my sentiment on to the vellum but it didn't work so I re-stamped it on to card stock and attached it with Dimensionals. My frame is made by stamping leaves on to white card stock, cutting them out and arranging around the edge of my vellum panel. There's a new challenge at  Addicted to Stamps  and this week we on the dt are addicted to GOLD. Here's my card This is very similar to a card I saw  HERE  on Pintrest - I just stamped and embossed my butterfly in Gold and the others in black. I've also gold embossed my flower which is from the Love and Sympathy set and added a gold bow. One last card for today, this time for  Retro Sketches  (sorry did the title give it away?) - take a look I recently acquired a new set - Love and Sympathy so I decided to have a play with it to make this card I have used some Twitterpated DSP, Basic Black, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card stock. My new Blossom punch is getting a thorough workout as I'm using it on everything!! I've also added some flat backed black gems as a finishing touch. Off to see granddad tomorrow - he's doing OK, still can't see so I'm paying him a visit and cooking him lunch.
