One Layer Anniversary Card

Image
Well - no snow yet but it's pretty icy outside, I'm just glad I'm staying put today and sharing this card with you. This is a One Layer card so it fits perfectly in to the challenge over on  Stampin' Royalty  and I've used the colours from the  Color Throwdown I've used Gumball Green, Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate. My images are from the Stampin' Up Petal Parade set and the sentiment is one from my stash. This was such a quick and easy card to create, great if you need a last minute card - which I did! It's lovely too to see the joy on someone's face when they realise you have hand a card especially for them. Thanks for stopping by today - see you soon xx

Time is running out!

I changed the colours and rotated the design and this is how they turned out: See that little pouch in the background? We made it to store our cards in. It's the Retro Fresh DSP and the colours on the cards match perfectly because that's what Stampin' Up does. (I was lucky enough to meet with a lady who ...

In case you didn't know my dad was having some pretty intensive chemotherapy treatment and I was staying with my mum till he came out of hospital. And he did - after nearly 3 weeks. The journeys to and from Birmingham have been quite exhausting and mum and I have felt very stressed and stained especially on the days when he had a very bad reaction to his treatment. But that is behind us now and we now have the task of building his strength back up and keeping him positive. As you know I am on the design team of 4 challenge blogs and while I have been away my fellow teamies have kept everything running so smoothly and efficiently and I would like to thank them all - it's a privilege to work alongside you all. Thank you too to all my lovely followers who have stayed with me and left me such lovely comments -and hi to all my new followers I promise my posts will get better from now on! Right then talking of posts I had ...
