Phoenix Inspirations

I mentioned yesterday that I did more than just stamping  - I bead as well.  I mostly do bead weaving with seed beads but I do like to mix it up and use other beads too. I've just finished a project  - it's called a 'Dune Necklace ' and I followed the tutorial on YouTube.  I love how it turned out  - take a look  The large beads in the centre of the triangles are Czech Firepolished crystals,  they have a gorgeous iridescent  sheen to them which you can't really see on the photo.  This will be up for sale when I get a website organised but if you'd like to get in there first please message me at jacquelinenm68@gmail.com  Thanks for stopping by today  - see you soon xxx 

I'm a bit late to the party today, a trip to the doctors followed by a spot of lunch followed by a visit to my dad's grave to lay some flowers for Easter. It's a very peaceful spot but today it was very cold and blowy - hope my flowers don't blow away! So I'm back now and ready to do a bit of beading, here's what's on my work desk today So the necklace hasn't grown much, my joints haven't been too good lately - hence the trip to the drs. Just a couple more inches should do the trick and then I can add the clasp. Meanwhile I have just received a package of new beads ready to make some sparkly earrings and also a boho bracelet. It's been a while - to say the least! Crafting has been way down the agenda as of late and blogging ..... well lets just gloss over that shall we?! The weather is becoming more springlike and I can now vacate my winter crafting residence (the dining room table) and take up residence down in the garage. Before I go though I thought I would share with you what I have been doing when I have a spare few minutes. This thought also led to me thinking I would revisit a place frequented by other crafters specifically on a Wednesday. I went back through my blog list to find out just how long it had been since I was there - only flippin' 2011!! I was convinced it was only a couple of years but no - the evidence is  HERE !!! Yesterday I showed you a special birthday card, well to go with that card there is a special present and I made a matching box and tag to put it in - take a look Not quite as ornate as the card it's just simply layered up with a bow made from the last of the ribbon and a little tag attached with white bakers twine. Inside is the present. This is a glimpse into one of my other crafting passions - beading. It's a necklace made in the favourite colours of the recipient with matching earrings - want to see? How nice to be able to combine both my love of paper crafting and jewellery making. Now that I'm no longer a SU demo I have a little bit more time to devote to building this up as business so watch this space for more creations! Thanks for stopping by today - see you soon xx
