To a Wild Rose

Image
Today I have for you one of the very new sets from the new catalogue. It's going to be one of my many favourites as it's so pretty and feminine. It's called To a Wild Rose and here is the card I created I've used a very simple colour palette and made it very clean and simple by making the card one layer only. Colours are: Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz. This card was made for a Stampin' Up Facebook swap. I made nine cards like the one above and got nine different ones in return. I will showcase these a little later on as they all feature new stash from the catalogue! As always the above products can be ordered from me or my shop SHOP jacquelinenm68@gmail.com Thanks for stopping by today to take a look - see you soon - J x

Blended Bloom

Image
I'm in a Facebook group where crafters make a few cards and then send to others in the group on a monthly basis. Last month I made my cards with Blended Bloom - take a look I used varying tones of pink and purple ink  so each on was different. Glittered butterflies were also added and the main flower was attached with 3D foam pads. Here is one in close up This is using Rich Razzleberry ink. The line border was drawn in using the fine tip of the Rich Razzleberry marker. it's nearly time to make my June cards - better get a move on! Hope you like my cards today - hope to see you again soon x

Another Bookmark Card

Image
The monthly Facebook swap this month was a card with a detachable bookmark, it had to incorporate embellishments made with paint sample cards and no other embellishments. Here's my swap It's very similar to yesterday's card card but uses the Blended Bloom stamp. Here's the lovely card I received from my swap partner Tracy Phew - a whole week of posts - lets hope the Internet behaves it's self again next week and I can show you some more of what I have been making. I feel a week of 'man' cards may be on the agenda - in time for Father's Day - see you soon, have a great weekend xx

October Fat Book Page Swap - Halloween

Image
This is the fat page I made for October. The subject was Halloween and this is what I made I don't own any Halloween stamps or images so I improvised. The oval is a piece of waste rubber saved from a Stampin' Up set and it was inked up with Pumpkin Pie ink and stamped twice. I then inked it again with Tangerine Tango and stamped it again in the middle - hopefully it looks like a pumpkin! Vintage Vogue was then used to create some stem and leaves and a border around the page. I finished it off with some black glitter before posting it off to my swap buddy  Meggymay . This is the page I received from  Caz Caz is the co-ordinator of the swap and more details can be found on her blog  here  - pop over and take a look. - Jacqueline xx
