Workshop Makes

Hello - hope everyone is having a great Bank Holiday weekend. I am enjoying the calm and the quiet and making the most of having a tidy house as next week my daughter Briony is returning home from uni. She always brings chaos and drama in her wake along with loads of washing and ironing! Hello too to my new followers - thanks for finding me and I do hope you will continue to visit and like what I do. OK - onwards, I promised you some pics of things I had made recently at one of the workshops I regularly attend. They are run by a fellow demonstrator and you can find Jane's lovely blog -  HERE . So last week I made this beautiful mirror frame - well when I say I made it I mean I decorated it and made it pretty! - take a look Now I do apologise for the poor quality of my photos - I am in the process of clearing a better space for such purposes. Jane pre-painted the frame first for us then let us loose on her stamps and embossing powders - that's the Vanilla Flower Trim aro...

Pocket Card Tutorial Ready

Image
As promised my tutorial on how to make this card - - is now up on my Craft Club Blog  HERE . We made made these at my workshop last Thursday night and here is the one I made during the demonstration I've used some Really Rust card stock and various autumnal coloured inks - I also sponged around the edges of my Vanilla card stock with a bit of Crumb Cake ink too, - Chocolate Chip was used for the tags. My French Foliage set was used for the stamping and I also used my Scallop Edge punch for my middle border. This is such an easy card to make - one piece of card stock, one cut, about six folds - and no measuring!- It takes no time at all to make - all the fun is in the decoration, hope you have time to have a go! Bye for now - Jacqueline xx

Key Chain Mini Albums.

Image
Take a look at these photos and see if you can guess what I have recycled to make my mini album Well it's actually a chewing gum box! After the contents were consumed I carefully took it apart and re-covered it with some decorative papers (this is a great way of using up scraps). I then die cut some tag shapes and covered them using matching paper and adding a few flat embellishment too. This is a great little project to do and one I shared with some ladies who came along one day last week to a workshop. Here is the one I made in the demonstration It was so lovely yesterday when one of the ladies who had made this showed me the one she had finished making already decorated with pictures of her beautiful Granddaughter - don't you just love it when a plan comes together! - bye for now - Jacqueline xx

I made all my ladies a little gift (everyone who attends one of my workshops in September will get one too).
