Cascade Card

Next Thursday evening I will be having a workshop where we are going to be making Cascade Cards - here's one I made earlier using some Crumb Cake card stock, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Boho Blossoms, 5 Petal Punch and the 2 Step Bird Punch.

Spookily Cascade cards are also the subject of this month's Technique Tuesday so I have entered my card there and if you do play along with me next Thursday be sure and post the results there too.

    Jacqueline, this is AWESOME! LOVE the piece you added to the back--and that paper! I LOVE THAT PAPER!!! I am so glad I bought tons of it... ;) I also love the lack of sentiment...it can just be something just because you love someone! Thanks for joining me at Technique Tuesday! :)

    Jacqueline this card is beautiful! I LOVE that paper. The colors are just gorgeous and it looks so vintage. Great idea to add the piece to the back/top of the card!

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr

It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
