Make and Take

Before I launch into my post can I just say - look at my fab new blog design!!! I had it specially designed for me by fellow SU demonstrator and Pinkie Catherine Carroll. She is going to add a link here to her site soon so do watch out for that. Now this time last week I was preparing for my catalogue launch Open House Event. I love to spoil my customers so the first thing I did with them when they arrived was sit them down to a free Make and Take - here it is I don't know if you can quite see in the photo but the black CS has been embossed in the Mosaic embossing folder making it super easy to add the mosaic punched tiles. How do you like the pop of yellow - it's a new colour called Crushed Curry - I love it! I've also used another new colour - Smoky Slate - also gorgeous! My lovely ladies also had a lucky dip on the day and a choice of retiring sets to purchase too plus a free gift for all orders over £25 on the day - I think they all went home happy! Materials -...

Quick Make and Takes

Image
I've done a couple of Hostess Parties recently and got the ladies present making these cute little note cards for their make and takes These are simply pieces of card stock 4" x 8" folded in half. Pieces of DSP have been cut with another piece of white card stock cut to the same size (3.75" x 3.75"). One of the stamps from Mixed Bunch was stamped in the corner of the card stock before being punched out using the matching Blossom Punch. Smaller portions of the flower were then 'munched' from two sides. It was then attached to the DSP and mounted on to the card base with Dimensionals. The punched flower was also attached using a Dimensional. Really quick and easy and perfect as a little gift set. Materials - Stampin' Up Stamps: Mixed Bunch Ink: Certain Celery, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue Card Stock: Whisper White Paper: Subtles Collection DSP Accessories: Blossom Punch, Dimensionals (Please e-mail me for details on ordering any ...

A couple of weeks ago i made the decision to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and with the help of my lovely upline -  Vicky , I ordered my Starter Kit and made plans for my first workshop. This weekend it is Open House here at Rose Cottage and if you are in the area you can pop in and take a look at the new Annual Catalogue whilst having a nice cuppa and piece of cake. There are free gifts just for turning up and a Make and Take. People who know me know that I am very passionate about Stampin' Up products - I use them on all my cards - so nothing will change in regards the content of my blog posts. All that's different is that you can now purchase your own Stampin' Up goodies through me. So - back to today's Make and Take. It's a quick and easy Christmas card using two new sets - Christmas Blessings and Sassy Salutations - take a look Whisp...
