You my remember I used this set recently for my workshops - I also made an easel card in this style as easel cards are the subject of this month's workshops - take a look I didn't stop there either as I made this little gift box to complete the collection Thanks for looking today - I will be saying fond farewells to a few more sets later in the week so do pop back. Enjoy the rest the weekend - Jacqueline xx

A Handmade Embellishment

Image
Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone - hope you enjoy the extra day. Today's challenge at  Make My Monday  is to make a handmade embellishment for your card  - I had great fun with this and ended up making loads! I made this card for a lovely customer of mine who has recently celebrated a birthday and it's actually a butterfly brooch that's been attached to the card - you can see that in the second photo. I got the idea from my upline Vicky and another fellow demonstrator Helen who had made theirs using the bird punch. I punched about 5 black, card stock butterflies and glued then one on top of another with Tombow glue. I then punched the butterfly from silver Glimmer paper and also glued that with Tombow. The pin was attached to the back with Crystal Effects. To attach it to the card I punched two small holes and joined then with a cut with a craft knife - the pin then slotted through very easily. Materials - Stampin' Up Stamps: Fabulous Florets Ink: Certain...
