Make My Monday Colour Challenge

The lovely Caz  has designed this week's fabulous challenge over on the Make M y Monday challenge blog and it is a colour challenge -Use the Colours - BLUE & BROWN.
Here is my card


I've kept things quite clean and simple with this card - mainly just matting and layering and then the addition of 2 stamped butterflies. The butterflies are available in the Papillon Potpourri set and to make things really easy both have co-ordinating punches.

Materials - Stampin' Up
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Delightful Dozen. Sassy Salutations
Ink: Bashful Blue, Soft Suede
Card Stock: Whisper White, Soft Suede
Paper: Subtles DSP
Accessories: Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches (sold separately).

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
