Time for some Christmas Sparkle

Image
Just a quick post to direct you to the  Christmas 24 Challenge Blog Where our new challenge is And here is my card So I took a piece of Whisper White card stock and randomly stamped some snowflakes. I used Basic Gray for the larger flakes then a pale blue - Coastal Cabana and then I finished up with a brighter blue with Bermuda Bay. Into each flake I added a sparkly gem. I mounted my card stock on to some Basic Gray card which was then attached to a base of Bermuda Bay. The greeting is from the same set (retired) Endless Wishes and this was also layered like the card. A big gross grain gray ribbon was added as a finishing touch. Hope you like it and that you pop over to take a look at all the fab sparkly cards from my DT. See you soon  - J xx

Orange Opulance

Gosh - January didn't hang around did it? I can't believe it's February already! Have any of you got snow? Thankfully we have none at the moment because I hate it. I live on top of a hill so to get anywhere (I don't drive) I'm either going downhill or uphill - I could do with a ski-lift!!! Anyhoo - to brighten up your dark day it's challenge time over at the  Rainbow Card Challenge This month's theme is The rules are simple - a monochrome card using orange. Here's mine for the team I chose a snowy theme as most of the UK is snowbound at the moment! My images are from the SU set Endless Wishes along with a sentiment from the Good Greetings set. A little unconventional for a Christmas Card perhaps but I had fun making it! I hope you can play along with us this month - see you soon - J xx

Image
It's Saturday and that means it's time for a new Christmas challenge over on the  52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown  blog. This week Deborah has chosen some colours for us There are some beautiful creations from the other members of the design team but before you head on over to take a look - here's mine And a close up I grabbed various shades of orange ink from my stash and teamed them up with the Endless Wishes stamp set. A few gems were added for some extra sparkle and a ribbon and bow. Thanks for looking xx

Endless Wishes

So if you read my blog yesterday you would have seen a lone Christmas card created with the Endless Wishes snowflake set. I did make quite a few more but the weather was lousy and it was impossible to take any decent piccies. Well today is no better really but I took more photos for you - come and take a look The last pic shows two spare panels - I usually go wrong and make a mess of things so I had a back up plan. I actually didn't need them this time so I will have two extra cards! These cards are available to buy along with many more that you will be seeing here. If there are any that you like the look of email me and I will send details. I also make personal cards and cards for special occasions, again just drop me an email and I will send details.  jacquelinenm68@gmail.com Today's cards will be sold as a pack of 8 and will cost £5. Thanks for looking - see you soon xx

CAS Christmas Style

Image
A quick post today - I have a Christmas card created cleanly and simply for this week's challenge at  CAS Colours & Sketches Here are the colours I am working with And here is my card I randomly stamped a panel of Whisper White card stock with the snowflakes from Endless Wishes - some were embossed with gold embossing powder along with part of the sentiment. The card stock panel was then attached to a white card base. I did make a few more of these but the weather is so dull today I will try photographing them again tomorrow. Today's were so bad I think I'll quit while I'm ahead! Thank s for looking - bye for now xx

It's time for another Christmas challenge over on the  52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown  and this week Deborah want us to use this colour combo Here is my card I used my snowflakes from the Endless Wishes set and I splatted some images from the Gorgeous Grunge too. I can't remember how many blues I used for this I'm afraid -but it was a lot!! We will all be feeling a little blue over on the blog so please do pop over to say 'hi'!

Snow flake Card

So - the stamp Endless Wishes set fell into my basket last time I was placing an order and I haven't really used it enough yet. I did get to use it on a card I made for a Facebook swap a while ago though - take a look I do love a bit of word stamping around the edge - have you noticed that?! And of course I used my favourite colour Lost Lagoon - this time teamed up with a bit of Blushing Bride. The vellum panel is a piece I was given a while ago by  a friend, it's been embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder and I topped it with a snowflake which is made by quilling - a technique recently experienced at a local craft club. It's a Joy Fold card and I hope it bought a little joy to the person I sent it to! Thanks for looking xx

Endless Wishes

I have been hankering after a stamp set ever since the new Holiday Mini came out. There's loads to love in little catalogue and so I prioritised but ............. there was still this one set that I really really loved. So one dark night night when no one was looking (especially my hubby) I ordered it! And I couldn't just order one thing - that would be silly as I had to justify the p+p so a few more more items just jumped on to the order too - more on those items later. The set of the moment is as the title suggests is Endless Wishes - three snowflakes and a whole flurry of gorgeous sentiments. I just had to use it straight away - take a look And as luck had it I needed a card for today's challenge over at  CAS - Colours & Sketches  where the beautiful Lizy has chosen these colours for us This card is only 4" x 4" and I had a purpose in mind as I created it. I made three more and then this made this little pocket to house them all And ...
