I'm in a Facebook group where crafters make a few cards and then send to others in the group on a monthly basis. Last month I made my cards with Blended Bloom - take a look I used varying tones of pink and purple ink  so each on was different. Glittered butterflies were also added and the main flower was attached with 3D foam pads. Here is one in close up This is using Rich Razzleberry ink. The line border was drawn in using the fine tip of the Rich Razzleberry marker. it's nearly time to make my June cards - better get a move on! A clean and simple card for you today - take a look This is another of my favourite stamps (lets be honest though - they're all my favourites!!!!) Blended Bloom. It was stamped on to white card stock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Pink ink was sponged on to the flower making it a bit darker in the centre. I then fussy cut it out and added to my white panel with dimensionals. A bow and ribbon were added along with the sentiment (from Jar of Love) and then that was attached to some pink card stock on a white C6 card base. The challenge over on Sassy Sketcharinos has been extended for another couple of weeks so I decided to make another couple of cards using the current sketch I also used the colour/photo inspiration from the current challenge over on MHKDesigns I love these anemone type flowers and they look gorgeous in white - the perfect starting point for my card - take a look I used Stampin' Up's Blended Bloom and Fabulous Florets to make my flowers shading it with a Sahara Sand Marker. The large main flower also has some Dazzling Diamonds glitter added to it. My stripes are Sahara Sand, Always Artichoke and Pear Pizzazz with a couple of gems added as a finishing touch. I've had great fun in my craft room today and I made another card using the above sketch but that's for another day. I have a very bright and cheerful card for you today which is good because I'm full of a head cold and feeling rotten! The snow that was promised didn't arrive and it's still very damp outside. Here is my card - hope it cheers you up too!! The monthly Facebook swap this month was a card with a detachable bookmark, it had to incorporate embellishments made with paint sample cards and no other embellishments. Here's my swap It's very similar to yesterday's card card but uses the Blended Bloom stamp. Here's the lovely card I received from my swap partner Tracy Phew - a whole week of posts - lets hope the Internet behaves it's self again next week and I can show you some more of what I have been making. I did a party recently and as I was going through the Stampin' Up catalogue with the ladies one asked "what's the difference in the markers?" Well - one is alcohol ink (Blendabilites) and the other is a water based dye ink (Stampin' Write Markers) I replied. "Yes - but what's the difference?" she insisted. Hmmmmm - time to find out! Here is a sheet of Whisper White card stock. It's very smooth and I find that it is excellent for colouring onto - not water colouring though. I have stamped said card stock with the Blended Bloom stamp and coloured them with both sets of markers - take a look Two of the blooms have been coloured with Stampin' Write markers - reds and greens and two have been coloured with the Cherry Cobbler set of Blendies and the Old Olive set of Blendies (you get three in each set, dark, medium and light). It's time for another sketch challenge over on  CAS - Cards & Sketches  and this one has been designed by me! And here is my card I have actually cut along the diagonal in the sketch after stamping with my new Corner Garden stamp. It's a beautiful large stamp that will look stunning coloured but today I left it undecorated and just added the Blended Bloom flower instead. Another design perfect for colouring in and this has been coloured using the new Blendabilities in the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. The flower has been mounted on dimensionals and a Pool Party background added inside the card to make it all stand out. The sentiment is from the lovely hostess set Bloom with Hope and of course is only available with an order of £150 or more - so get booking those parties with me quick!
