Post-it-Notes

Image
I love my post it notes. I use them for masking whole images to create depth and perspective and then I rip and tear them to create skies and mountains. I would be lost without them! The other thing about post it notes is that they make cute little thank you gifts. I made a batch for all those who took part in my fundraising event last Friday - all decorated with the divine Petal Garden DSP - take a look They were covered with the coloured sheets and then individual flowers were cut out of the floral sheets and attached with glue. Here's a picture of my table before the crafting started Don't forget the lovely Petal Garden DSP is available to buy in my shop - details in the top tabs. Thanks for stopping by - see you soon xx

Post - it - Note Holders

Image
Today I have some post-it-note holders to show you. These make great craft fair stock or cute little thank you gifts. Again these are great for using up scraps of card and paper - these are simply strips of card wrapped around the pad of post it notes and decorated with co-ordinating paper. The closure is a small round self adhesive Velcro dot. These are larger pads but made the same way. I've used a border punch to decorate the one edge. These last two have been made using a tag punch so that they can be closed with ribbon. There are a couple more examples of post it note holders in my labels section in the side bar - click on post it note holders and you will be able to see them. Have a great weekend folks - see you soon xx

Thank You Gifts

I had to cancel a lot of my workshops last month but as you know they started back up today and as a little thank you for their patience (and for coming back!) I made all my ladies a little gift (everyone who attends one of my workshops in September will get one too). These are little 2" x 2" pads of post it notes that I have covered with card stock, some scraps of decorative papers and then a punched Blossom flower. Boho Blossoms punch was also called into action together with a bit of bling and a keyring. If you live in and around the Malvern area and would like to come along to one of my workshops (the next one is on Sept 18th) e-mail me on deezinesart@gmail.com for details and you too could get one of these pretty keyrings. See you soon - Jacqueline xx

Post it Note Holders.

A very long time ago I came across a blog with these delightful little post it note holders, click here  to go and see them. I downloaded the instructions - and must have forgotten them because when taking a tour around some files I found them again! I didn't make mine exactly the same - I didn't add the holder for the paperclips. I thought that they would make cute little stocking fillers. As you can see I have used the very versatile 2 Step Bird Punch and also the Scallop Edge Punch and they are so easy to make, Jo has made her instructions very easy to understand. So - only 27 more days left to the big day - is anyone excited yet? I bought some tree lights today only to get them home and find that they don't work... doh! Bye for now - Jacqueline xx.

In Vogue.

I needed to make a small gift for someone, and I had some bits and pieces left over form the previous card so I made this - a post-it note holder. I adjusted the measurements of one demo'ed on You Tube. (Just go to You Tube and key 'post-it note holder' into the search bar and there are loads to choose from). I also used my new Stampin' Up favourite stamp set - Vintage Vogue. I love this set so much that I couldn't resist playing a little longer and I came up with this I think it was seeing a card similar to this on Vicky's  blog that made me fall in love with the set. I have used Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink, Creamy Caramel and Old Olive ink and some self adhesive, flat backed pearls. I'm off now for my Sunday Lunch - seeyou soon - Jacqueline xx .
