Lotus Blossom

Image
Have you taken a look at the new catalogues in my side bar yet? - Just click on the pictures and you can peruse an online catalogue. Don't forget too that for every £45 you spend you can choose a FREE Sle-a-bration item. Perhaps the Lotus Blossom stamp set? This is a very simple set of three images which make up the flower. It's really easy to do too - I did this without a Stamp-a-ma-jig (stamp positioner), all you need are three colours similar in shade that go from light to dark. It works too by stamping off on a piece of scrap paper before stamping the first image. Here are some more - I made a set I teamed these up with the very useful Gorgeous Grunge set along with a multitude of Stampin' Write Makers. Thanks for stopping by today - pop back tomorrow for anther Christmas challenge xx

I changed the colours and rotated the design and this is how they turned out: See that little pouch in the background? We made it to store our cards in. It's the Retro Fresh DSP and the colours on the cards match perfectly because that's what Stampin' Up does. (I was lucky enough to meet with a lady who ...

Make My Monday - a bit late!

I'm a day late for this week's challenge at  Make My Monday  - I've been a little unwell but as I know of a couple of ladies who have far worse medical problems to cope with - I won't complain about a mere head cold. I have also used my new 'Cloudy Day embossing folder. My ribbon is attached as a border with a flower with a button centre - I've tied the middle with some bakers twine. All materials from Stampin' Up Stamps: Patterned Occasions Ink: Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink Card Stock: Whisper White, Marina Mist, So Saffron, Certain Celery Accessories: Cloudy Day embossing folder, Button (retired), Scallop Dots Border ribbon, Bakers Twine, (All current Stampin' Up items can be ordered through...
