More Colour Wheel Challenges at MMM

Image
We had Primary colours last week so it's only natural that we move on to the Secondary Colours this week. Take a look at this week's challenge at  Make My Monday Again I have used one of the lovely digi images very generously provided by this month's sponsor My Heart Pieces Here is my card My image is coloured in using Promarkers and my card stock is bits and pieces found in my stash drawer - I gave them a new lease of life by running them through some decorative embossing folders in my cuttlebug. Please do go and see the fabulous work that my lovely design team have done for you today and I will see you soon. I'm still not here but will be returning later this evening and I have a workshop in the morning so I will have a lovely tutorial with downloadables (if I work out how to do it!!!) for you very soon. Bye for now - Jacqueline xx

Mid-week Motivation with Promarkers

Image
It's Mid-week Motivation time over on the  Make My Monday  challenge blog and in honour of our sponsor (details on the blog) I have used one of her digis to colour using the Red, Yellow and Blue of this week's colour Wheel challenge - take a look The main image was coloured using Promarkers - it's ages since I used them and I think I could do with some more practise! My sky background was sponged using post it note cloud masks and I used card stock from my stash. Here's a close up I am entering this card into the following challenges Seems A Little Sketchy St Luke's Charity Cards Challenge  - Teenage Kicks - cards for teenagers. Jacqueline xx

Dandelion.

Image
My freebie Dandelion digi has been in my side bar for just over a week now and it's been great to know that people have liked it and requested to download it. I also thought that I should have a go at using it my self! I had a fresh order of Stampin' Up card stock and ink a while a go and I have been dying to use the two blues - Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point and I thought that this would be the ideal opportunity to do so. So I downloaded the digi - twice and cut them to size. I sponged them with the blue inks and layered them onto some Tempting Turquoise card stock.   I added a silver clip to the larger of the pictures and tied on a piece of organza ribbon. This was originally white but I ran it over my ink pad before heating it with my heat gun - this not only dried the ink but also melted the ribbon slightly giving it a crinkled look. I added a sympathy sentiment - thankfully I don't need such a card at the moment but I thought it looked a peaceful sort of card...

Beach Huts in the Craft Garden.

Image
Hi folks - I found this challenge blog this morning and there are but hours left in which to take part. The blog is  The Craft Garden  and the theme is 'Beach Huts' and they are one of my favourite things about the seaside. Here is my card    The digi stamp is one I found on the Little Musings  blog and I teamed it up with some K & Company paper from the Sea Glass range. The shells are real and it wasn't until I had stuck them on that I realised - they probably won't go through the post - doh. Will have to give it to someone by hand! Bye for now - Jacqueline xx.
