Christmas in July.

Image
I'm starting to stock pile a small amount of Christmas cards now which is very good as I am usually still making mine on Christmas Eve! And I love making Christmas cards because you can be very over the top and add loads of glitter and bling! The one I made today has a moderate amount of glitter and bling and a gorgeous little digi stamp downloaded from Pink Gem  web site. Used some Christmassy backing papers and my Promarkers. This is for the Pink Gem challenge this month here . The challenge was to follow the sketch and the optional extra was to decorate the inside. Here is the sketch And here is my creation I made an easel card so I guess the decoration in side would be under the flap - like so - I then decided to mount the card on a drawer - a good place to put a christmas pressie or some choccies I think I would like to enter my card/box into the following challenges Pink Gem  - Sketch Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club  - A Very Beary Merry Xmas Bee Crafty - ...

O.K - this is my last post of the day. It's been a bit of a marathon to say the least, but there has been so many fab challenges this weekend that I just couldn't let them pass by. This card takes in two challenges - take a look: For this card I used Stampin' Up card stock - Real Red ( although come to think of it - it could be some Bazzill - yikes can't remember!) , some decorative paper from my stash (again can't remember where it's from), definately S'U card stock Ballet Blue which has gone through my Cuttlebug in the Floral Fantasy embossing folder and some 7 Gypsies paper flowers - coloured with a red Promarker. The blue ribbon is from a Kanban kit I've had for ages. And last but not least - the stamped image is from  Pink Gem and she is called Sprinkles on Toadstool. She has been stamped on to water colour paper and coloured with Promarkers and I have glittered her wings. Phew! Challenges for my card: Pollycraft Monday - Ribbon & Bling. Pape...

A Gem of a Challenge.

It's time for another Pink Gem Challenge  and this month we have a colour recipe Using this picture for inspiration we have to use Green, Pink and Burgundy on our cards. I also like to use a Pink Gem image on my cards for this challenge and  guess what? - I won the two free stamps on last month's challenge - but which one to choose? In the end I decided upon Chloe on her Swing - if you pop over to the Pink Gem Blog  there is a lnk to the Pink Gem shop where you find these lovely stamps and more. Here is my card: With this card I would also like to put myself forward for the chance of becoming a design team member. Hope you like it - please check the other entries - there are some wonderful cards - see you soon- Jacqueline xx.

A Little Gem.

Hello again - just a quick post - time has nearly run out for this challenge however, I think I've made it just in time. This time it's A Gem of a Challenge  and the theme this month is 'Special Birthdays'. Now I know that '5' is not a significant birthday but the little girl that will receive this card is very special, so I hope that makes up for it! My image is a digi from Pink Gem  and it's called Milly and Lily. She is coloured with Promarkers and I've just used bits and pieces from my general stash to make the card. Hope you like it - Jacqueline xx.
