Phoenix Inspirations

Last post of the week and I think the last of my unblogged cards - you never know there may be more lurking in forgotten files somewhere but I don't think so! Today's card is quite masculine I think and I have used Mosaic Madness plus green and brown ink. Very CAS and very easily adapted to any occasion or colour combination - what do you think? I am hoping to share with you a new project I am working on next week. As I don't do any challenge blogs now and I am no longer a Stampin' UP demo I thought I'd work on something I've been thinking about for a while. It will be fairly easy to fit it around every thing else going on and there will be no deadlines to keep to - just a bit of fun hopefully! Please do join me next week and have a great weekend xx

Good morning everyone - I've been away awhile I know but I have been unable to craft for a few days. I burnt my wrist last weekend and it has been quite painful to say the least. I have had a large dressing on it 'till now and just laying it down on the desk to type on my laptop has been difficult. Anyway enough of my whinging - here is this week's new challenge at  Make My Monday  - EASTERN PROMISE. Now I didn't quite as Far East as my teamies - I stopped at Morocco, take a look Mosaic Madness with the matching embossing folder and punch is perfect for this don't you think? Over on  Make My Monday  this week our new theme is 'CONTEMPORY CHRISTMAS' - nothing traditional - here is my card - hope it fits the bill! I've used the Mosaic Madness set and matching punch for this and added some extra bling behind my baubles with some silver glimmer paper - should have used a ruler for my hanging bits though the lines look a bit wonky! Before I launch into my post can I just say - look at my fab new blog design!!! I had it specially designed for me by fellow SU demonstrator and Pinkie Catherine Carroll. She is going to add a link here to her site soon so do watch out for that. Now this time last week I was preparing for my catalogue launch Open House Event. I love to spoil my customers so the first thing I did with them when they arrived was sit them down to a free Make and Take - here it is I don't know if you can quite see in the photo but the black CS has been embossed in the Mosaic embossing folder making it super easy to add the mosaic punched tiles. How do you like the pop of yellow - it's a new colour called Crushed Curry - I love it! I've also used another new colour - Smoky Slate - also gorgeous!
