Father Christmas

It's time for another Christmas challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown and this week we want to see your cards with images of Father Christmas

Here is my card


As I don't have any stamps with Father Christmas images I had to have a mad rummage through my old (and I mean old!) crafting stash which I had condemned to the far reaches of my craft room to find a sticker. I mounted him on to some green card stock and added him to a card I had stamped with an image from the Bells and Boughs set - coloured in with various markers. Quite simple - and quick but not a bad effort in the end!
(No pictures of close ups or inside - still trying to transfer all my files from my old lap top!)

Materials - Stampin' Up
Stamps: Bells and Boughs
Inks: Basic Gray, Pear Pizzazz (Retired) Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler - all Stampin' Write Markers
Card Stock: Whisper White, Garden Green
Accessories: White Gel Pen

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
