Pop Up Card Midweek Motivation

It's my turn this week to do the Midweek Motivation for Make My Monday. The theme is Fancy Folds and anything goes as long as there is more than one fold on your project.
Here's what I have made


Not many folds there I hear you cry! But look what happens when you open it


And turn it to the side


The folds become platforms for the rose images making a pop-up card. There are more pics over on the blog so please hop on over and take a look.

Materials - Stampin' Up
Stamps: Stippled Rose, Petite Pairs
Ink: Bashful Blue,Not Quite Navy, Certain Celery, Always Artichoke
Card Stock: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Lots of Tags Sizzlets, Scallop Edge Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr

It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
