Workshop Makes

Hello - hope everyone is having a great Bank Holiday weekend. I am enjoying the calm and the quiet and making the most of having a tidy house as next week my daughter Briony is returning home from uni. She always brings chaos and drama in her wake along with loads of washing and ironing!
Hello too to my new followers - thanks for finding me and I do hope you will continue to visit and like what I do.
OK - onwards, I promised you some pics of things I had made recently at one of the workshops I regularly attend. They are run by a fellow demonstrator and you can find Jane's lovely blog - HERE.
So last week I made this beautiful mirror frame - well when I say I made it I mean I decorated it and made it pretty! - take a look

Now I do apologise for the poor quality of my photos - I am in the process of clearing a better space for such purposes. Jane pre-painted the frame first for us then let us loose on her stamps and embossing powders - that's the Vanilla Flower Trim around the middle too.
This next card is one we made Friday - it's not my style at all however, that's what I love about going to workshops and classes - there's always so much to learn

We also made this beautiful scrapbook layout - I really loved doing this as I haven't scrapped for ages and Jane had some lovely retired stamps that made a really lovely summery scene

If you look very carefully at this layout you may be able to spot a ghost! When stamping my branches a very faint image of the bird appeared too - not very clear but if you find him do let me know in the comments below - you never know I may just pick a winner and send you a little something!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend folks - see you soon - Jacqueline xx
