Waterfront

A set I haven't used yet - even though I've had it for ages is Waterfront. It's a fab set for creating scenes which is something I love doing, so I really don't know why it's taken me so long to play with it!

The card I have created is taken from a tutorial on Youtube. Unfortunately I can't remember where I found it so I can't add a credit but it turned out rather well I think - take a look


It's a one layer card so it's really good for posting and it didn't take very long to create.
I've used a variety of inks: Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, So Saffron and I think Bermuda Bay. I love the spotty stamp - it gives lovely texture without adding any bulk.

So I'm in beautiful Hereford now spending time with my daughter. Tomorrow we are going to an outside gym. Never done that before but I'm always up for new experiences - will tell all tomorrow!

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. It also has a gorgeous little fish which I couldn't wait to use - take a look Although I've mostly used blue ink I had added white highlights with a gel pen and then to finish it off a little sparkly blue gem. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
