Inchies
Good morning every one - and welcome to all my new followers. It's lovely to have you and I hope you continue to like what you see - it's great to get all your comments too - thank you.
OK - on with the job in hand. It's Monday and that can only mean one thing Make My Monday challenge blog. This week's challenge is still Autumn themed but with the added addition of some Flora and Fauna Inchies.
As you know I have been pretty obsessed with all things geometric lately so this was an easy one for me, although I didn't count on it taking me all afternoon and most of the evening to make! I am rather pleased with it though - take a look
It originally started with just the six squares on the left ...... but then it just grew! I used some ATC blanks to stamp my images on to and then coloured and sponged them and then cut them to size. The birds are made using the 2 Step Bird punch and all the different coloured leaves were added by hand.
Stamps used - Stampin' Up - Lovely as a Tree, Pocket Silhouettes and French Foliage.
Inks - Stampin' Up - Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip.
Card Stock - Stampin' Up - Whisper White, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Summer Sun, Really Rust, Peach Parfait and Chocolate Chip.
I really hope you can pop over to the MMM blog - my design team have made some stunning samples for you this week and it would be really great if you played along too - bye for now - Jacqueline xx

ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing piece of work Jacqueline (Awesome - as your son said!) I love the scene you've made with your inchies and the autumnal leaves on your birds' branches are a touch of genius! Vx
ReplyDeletePS Wasn't it weird that I made the inchie card?! Have linked it to MMM - hope that's ok!
This is a stunner Jacqueline and your scene looks fabulous cut up into inchies. Beautiful stamping and inking and love the colours too.

This is brilliant and I can see how it just sort of grew as you went along - the layout is great with lots of interest.
ReplyDeleteHow creative you are ! This is a real piece of artwork and it should be framed ! This would work also on a much bigger scale; the sky is the limit......... !
