Colour Challenge
This week at Simply Stampin' there is a colour challenge to follow
Some of the ladies on the design team have done Halloween themed projects but I'm afraid I don't do Halloween and I have come up with this instead
This is the very lovely Fresh Cuts set which Bev lent me to play with today and I think it looks fab stamped in the Old Olive ink. The middle panel has been raised up on 3D foam pads but you can't see that on the photo and the sentiment was heat embossed using black embossing powder to make it stand out better.
Short and sweet today folks as I have an evening of meetings tonight - see you soon - Jacqueline xx

This is a really lovely card - I don't really 'do' Halloween either but I do like the colours
ReplyDeleteHi Jaqueline,
ReplyDeletelovely card, old olive is a big favourite of mine. The card has a feel of William Morris about it, it put me in mind of his gorgeous Willow pattern design ! I overlooked this stamp thinking it was too busy but stamped in the single colour it looks great !

I usually make one halloween card (for the fun of it - not to send!) and that's the limit of halloween for me! I love your Fresh Cuts card and you're right, Old Olive is the perfect colour to stamp it in! Enjoy your evening of meetings! Vx
ReplyDeleteGreat use of this set, love this card ;-)
