MMM - oops!
ooops indeed - guess who didn't read the brief this week?.................erm that would be me then!
It's a new month at Make My Monday and it's quite complicated (well it was complicated for me!!) The theme is AUTUMN, and also CRAFT SUPPLIES, and the challenge is to create a card or project following the themes and using KRAFT & STRING (TWINE).
Here is my card -
So I used my Kraft and I used some Twine - I just forgot the Autumn bit. Sorry but as I really don't have time to change it you will have to make do with this.
I layered my white and Kraft card stock and also cut smaller squares to stamp onto. My little coloured flowers have been stamped, cut out by hand and attached using Dimensionals. The sentiment panel has also been attached the same way so it stands up over the twine which can be a bit bulky.
Please do pop over to the blog and take a look at the DT cards - they are so much more appropriate than mine. We also have a prize this month so if you decide to have a go please make sure you read the rules and follow the theme as I'm sure you won't want to miss out on that.
Materials
Stamps: Bright Blossoms, Sassy Salutations
Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse
Card Stock: Crumb Cake (same as Kraft), Naturals White
Accessories: Dimensionals
Other: Twine
(all products used are Stampin' Up - please feel free to look through the catalogue in the side bar - any S'U product can be ordered through me and delivered direct to your door please see the link at the top)
Thanks for stopping by to take a look today - see you soon - Jacqueline xx

I'm sure a busy person like you can be forgiven for the odd 'oops' - great card anyway. This is just the sort of thing I'd do by not reading things carefully!!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Jacqueline despite the oops! Really love the design and those little flowers which must have been a labour of love - fabulous effect.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Fliss xx
PS: Hope you warm up soon, I'm resisting turning on the heating and have put extra layers on instead!
Love your twine and kraft card! Those tulips are so sweet - love that they are popped up for more dimension. Great layout and design!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Jacqueline and with everything you've had to deal with lately I'm surprised you have managed to make a card at all!! Hope your OH is getting better:)

It's for an autumn birthday, Jacqueline! No need to apologize! ;) LOVE the vibrant colors and here's to hoping things start to calm down and that your DH recovers faster at home! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's just a different interpretation on the theme Jacqueline. I for one ...love it! Clean and simple beautifully done...you are the queen of this style! Thanks for having me over at MMM. Suzanne xx
ReplyDeleteI love this Jacqueline - and you made me giggle into the bargain! Love the twine with those bright flowers. Vicky x
ReplyDeleteGosh Jacqueline I'm surprised you had even a thought of making a card after what you and Clive have been through. That said it's a gorgeous card and love the colours you've used.....after all, Spring is the new Autumn eh? lol
