Christmas Anything Goes

That's right this week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown we have an Anything Goes challenge - as long as it's Christmassy though!
For this challenge my dt piece is an easel card using my stamp of the moment - my Clarity bicycle - take a look


I have used a mixture of X-Cut and Marianne Creatables dies and a couple of paper punches. The holly in the basket is stamped with the tiny stamp in the Pines and Poinsettias set - the pile of presents was hand drawn.

    WOW, what a fabulous easel card Jacqueline, I love how you've Christmassed up the bike! The traditional red and green combo works so well here and I love the added greenery and poinsettias!

    I am really loving that bicycle set! I wasn't sure that I would ever use it, but you are making it look like a necessity! ;) LOVE all the stamped embellishments--this is beautiful! :)

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr

It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
