I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. It also has a gorgeous little fish which I couldn't wait to use - take a look Although I've mostly used blue ink I had added white highlights with a gel pen and then to finish it off a little sparkly blue gem.  So following on from the Colour Refresh we have the usual introduction to the In Colours. This year they are more muted and neutral and they are in my opinion lovely! We have Pebbled Path, Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat and Boho Blue. And here is a card I have made using all these colours at once!! What do think of this new stamp set? Isn't it gorgeous? I love it and it's one of Stampin' Up's new Host sets. It's called Night of Flight  I have found myself reaching for this set and colours a lot this week - and I've had a lot of fun stamping and colouring. Hopefully you will come back and take a look!

Every few years Stampin' Up have a revamp of their colours. The In Colours change every 2 years and the core colours every 5 years. This year we have gained some beautiful new colours and a few colours have returned for an encore. New colours are: Brights - Azure Afternoon (Blue)                             Neutrals - Pecan Pie (Brown)                             Subtles - Lemon Lolly (Yellow) & Bubble Bath (Pale Pink) Returning Colours are: Brights - Lemon Lime Twist (Lime Green) & Berry Burst (Magenta)                                      Neutrals - Misty Moonlight (Blue)                                      Regals - Pretty Peacock (Blue/Green) & Blueberry Bushel (Blue)                                      Subtles - Lost Lagoon (Pale Blue/Green) & Fresh Freesia (Pale Purple) All these colours have the usual matching accessories: ink, paper, ribbon and embellishments etc ready for perfect crafting.

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
