Refreshing Mountain Air

Today I have a card for you made using the Mountain Air stamp set. I have had it for a while now but it’s my go to set when I want a masculine card.

I chose a simple fancy fold technique and plenty of sponging to achieve this scenic card.



The mountains are a special type of stamp, you stamp with one side of the stamp - the detail image and then turn the stamp over to stamp in the colour - two stamps in one!

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square. In The Male Room Again!

  Hello - it’s a long time since I last posted but I was asked to be a Guest Designer in  The Male Room  and I jumped at the chance. I set up the challenge blog a long time ago but had to give it up due to personal reasons. Since then it has carried on splendidly and today is their 200th challenge - how cool is that? So here is the challenge brief: Now to be totally honest with you I am a cat person and I very nearly did a cat card however, a dog is man's best friend and after all this is a male card so.................. Here we have a very excited trio of woofers out in the forest on their walkies! I used Stampin' Up sets for this card: Trees For Sale, Campology and Grassy Grove.
