I'm still here!

Oh my goodness how long is it since I posted? I really don't know what' gone on with me since I got home - I've just felt I wanted to lock myself away and be a bit quiet - so I did! I do feel really guilty though as I haven't posted ant DT cards for a week and that's bad.
So it's Monday morning - time to get on, draw a line and start the week with a card.
Today being Monday sees the start of a new challenge over on Make My Monday and this week the theme is - FAIRIES AND/OR MYSTICAL IMAGES.
Here's mine


Not Stampin' Up stamps I know but some I got free on a magazine a few weeks ago - bought with this challenge in mind actually.
I did however use my Stampin' Up Brayer and inks - can you spot a sneak peek???? Why don't you pop back tomorrow and I will reveal all!

    Really pretty Jacqueline. I bought that may too but couldn't find the stamps when I went to make my card! I'm sure they must be in a "very safe place"!

    A beautiful card and love the colours - think I can guess which new SU colour it is (my favourite). I passed on buying that magazine but wish I had now as I'm not sure I have anything suitable for this challenge.

    This is so pretty - I love all the stamping - it just draws my eyes into the fairy's garden. Beautiful colors!!

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr

It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
