MMM - Seasonal Tag

Well I think that this may be my final post of the year as I am taking a break to enjoy family and friends over the festive season.
I shall leave you with this week's card for the final challenge of 2011 over on Make My Monday. The theme this week is a
SEASONAL TAG
I chose to put my tag on a card - take a look


The card has been sponged with Brocade Blue ink and the edges sponged with Not Quite Navy. The trees (Pine Tree from Lovely as a Tree) have been stamped using Handsome Hunter and also with Versamark. This was then sprinkled with some Snowflake embossing powder and set using a heat gun. The tag was done exactly the same way and then attached to the card with 3D foam tape. A red ribbon was added and the seasonal sentiment.

    Jacqueline--love that red ribbon--remnants of challenges past... :) Your sponging is perfect and your green and then white embossed trees make perfect images! LOVE it! Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
