Nature Walk.

I've been having a play today with some new stamps. I have hankered after this set for a while now and it's going to feature heavily in one of my June workshops. The set is Nature Walk and I just love the little egg stamp - so much so that I have created a background with it take a look
The little birdy has been raised up on 3D foam pads as has the bee at the top. The eggs were coloured in using Promarkers but for the bird I used coloured pencils, for some reason the Promarkers didn't like my paper and they started to bleed.
I have to be a good girl now and go and do some proper work - invoices and stuff but watch out for some exciting things in the next couple of days - see you soon - Jacqueline xx.

    This is really lovely Jacqueline. Great colours and a fabulous background. Looks like the bird is looking after quite a lot of eggs!

    I knew you'd make some gorgeous things with this set Jacqueline and you never disappoint! I love the colours you've used for the eggs and I love the popped up bee and bird too. Vx

Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr

It's a One Layer challenge this week at  Less is More  with the added extra of things in 3's - here is my card And here's how I made it: Post it notes to mask off a square and to make my 3 clouds 3 blues to stamp my images: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Pacific Point. 3 Balloons from Up, Up and Away plus 3 birds flying in the sky 3 little words - just for you - from Just Believe. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting.
