This is a very quick post to show you my dt card for this weeks challenge over the  52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown . This week the challenge is to pick a previous sketch. I went for the July Blog Hop sketch but there are loads for you to choose from - just look under sketch archive over on the blog. Here is my card Sorry this is short but I have had an exhausting day. Dad is back in hospital and we have spent all visiting hours trying to convince him that he is not sat in a pool of water, or that there are kittens and puppies on the ward or that he is covered in spiders. He is having terrible hallucinations - we think it's due to his medication but we will not be sure until he has seen a doctor on Monday but it's quite worrying. How's everyone doing this fine Bank Holiday Monday? I'm in my craft room looking outside at rain, rain and more rain! Oh crumbs - it's Monday again, doesn't time fly?! So that means it's time for a new  Make My Monday  challenge and this week the theme is SPORTS. The new theme this week over at  Less is More  is ANIMAL and anyone who knows me knows that my favourite animal is my cat! Over on the  52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown  Gill is having a whale of a time choosing our themes. This week the theme is - And here is my card - taken very literally! I must say that this took absolutely ages to do as I stamped each individual letter with the Back to Basics Alphabet set! I then just added a few random images from some retired sets. It's time for our weekly challenge at  CAS - Colours & Sketches  to commence and this week we have some lovely colours for you to use - take a look Now these colours had me stumped for a while and while I was gazing at my stamp sets looking for inspiration to strike my eyes settled on the Serene Silhouettes and an idea was born - here is my card I love the trees in this set and I thought that the perfect sunset backdrop would be one of my Gorgeous Grunge stamps and the Cherry Cobbler red. The stamp was stamped closer together at the top of the card to create a darker more concentrated colour. Now pink is not a colour that springs to mind when thinking about men ........usually! However this week in  The Male Room  we want you to do just that - Make Pink Masculine. Here is my card I found loads of tutorials on YouTube for this kind of folded shirt and I just so happened to have some lovely pink DSP with shirt like stripes on it. The teeny tiny pearls were coloured with a black marker.
