Blue Jelly Scrapbook Challenge.

Hello folks - hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I have had a lovely day today, my husband (who normally works from home) has been away on business and I have been locked in my craft room scrapbooking. As you can see in my side bar I am drawing attention to a new monthly scrapbook challenge. It's set by Victoria over on Blue Jelly Stampin' and the first challenge is a sketch

There were two optional extras - use Black and White and one other colour and have a family theme. Here are my pages - I used mainly stuff from my scraps box but I did use my Stampin' Up Butterfly Punch. 



So, my optional colour was Pink and the pages are family themed as they are of my daughter Briony. She was all pink and squidgy when she was born so my husband nick-named her Polly Pinkle and that has stuck although it does get shortened to Pinkie now and then. (Do you think I have embarrassed her enough yet?!) Well anyway that little bundle of pink loveliness turns 19 this Thursday - I can't believe it - where has all the time gone?
Tomorrow is my monthly Tuesday morning workshop and I shall have something a bit different to share with you so please come back - bye for now - Jacqueline xx.

    This is just stunning Jacqueline, I love your version of my sketch. I love the white background, I said to another entrant that I've got to try this as haven't ever!

    How beautiful! I love the way the butterflies turn pink on the second page! Wouldn't it be fun to do a before and after page!

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. It also has a gorgeous little fish which I couldn't wait to use - take a look Although I've mostly used blue ink I had added white highlights with a gel pen and then to finish it off a little sparkly blue gem. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
