Sequin or Pearls?

What will you choose - or will you go for both? CAS - Fabulous Florets

Morning all - it's time for another colour challenge at  CAS - Colours & Sketches , take a look at our colours for this week And here is my card I dug out my Fabulous Florets for this one ad I was going to do it all one layer but in the end I stamped the foliage directly on to the card stock and then stamped the flowers on to scraps and cut them out and attached them with dimensionals. Make My Monday Purple!

It's challenge time again at  Make My Monday  and this week the lovely Caz has chosen Purples and Neutrals for her challenge. You can only choose one neutral though so please do check out the rules before you link up! Here is my card Now I would love to say this was all my own work but no - I followed a tutorial  HERE  with Dawn 'hi stampers' Griffith! I chose white as my neutral. New Challenge Blog and DT Call

I know I must be mad but this is something I have been thinking about for a while now - my new challenge blog -  The Male Room . It does exactly what it says - it's a challenge for men only cards. Do check it out - I need a design team and all you have to do to qualify is make a male card/project - simples. Oh and if you could spread the word a bit for me that would be great please. Speaking of male cards - here's the card I made for my husband today This set is being carried over from the Spring/Summer mini into the new catalogue - isn't it lovely, can't wait to use it some more. A Sad Farewell

One of my favourite stamps is retiring at the end of this month, I'm not too sad though as I have had a sneak peak at the brand new catalogue and there is a lot of new and exciting products to take it's place. You my remember I used this set recently for my workshops - I also made an easel card in this style as easel cards are the subject of this month's workshops - take a look I didn't stop there either as I made this little gift box to complete the collection Thanks for looking today - I will be saying fond farewells to a few more sets later in the week so do pop back. Glitter Bauble

It's time for another  52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown   challenge - gosh that came around quick again and golly did I make a mess of this one! I was out most of yesterday and came home exhausted, tried to make my card, ruined 2 pieces of card stock and went to bed in a very bad mood! I actually slept for 12 hours (!) woke up and made a new card - here it is You may be able to spot a sneaky peak of a new item coming in the new catalogue - more on that story later! CAS - Summer Silhouettes Sketch

Hello everyone - got a bit carried away this morning booking hotels and Convention places for a very special weekend away in November that I completely forgot to post this week's  CAS - Colours and Sketches  card. Here is the sketch we want you to use this week And here is my card I embossed my card with one of the folders from the Adorning Accents set across the bottom and then used my scoring plate to add two lines down the side. Elements from the Summer Silhouette set were stamped and cut out to decorate the card. Morning all - I'm a little tipsy this morning as my lovely husband treated me to a champagne breakfast for my birthday - how lucky am I? So this is going to be very short and sweet 'cos I am also being whisked away for the day and I should be getting in the car as we speak! (Not driving though!). The Best Of Flowers

This year Stampin' Up is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary and to commemorate this momentous occasion they are releasing a series of 'Best of....' stamp sets. They are clear mount and feature favourites plus one never before seen stamp. Each set will be released monthly up to October 2013 and - providing stocks last will be available until March 31st 2014. The Best Laid Plans

I have had a bit of a trying week - again! My poor dad was rushed into hospital last week having suffered a stroke so of course I dropped everything to go and be with mum - luckily it wasn't a bad stroke and dad is now back at home. Apparently it's related to his lymphoma cancer so we will have to wait now to see what treatment he will need. The thing is though that there are soooooooo many exciting things happening at Stampin' Up that I am bursting to tell you about!!!! Don't be surprised if I post many times over the next few days! Firstly though I need to update you about this week's challenge over on CAS - Colours and Sketches  - we have some very lovely colours for you to use - take a look These are beautiful colours and this is how I used them My gorgeous sparkly butterflies are made using my Silver Glimmer paper and have been coloured with a Rich Razzlebery marker - here's what else I used Materials - Stampin' Up Stamps: Stipple
