Birthday Poppies

Image
Here is a birthday card I made recently It was a fun card to make and it's inspired by one I found on Pinterest  HERE . I changed a few of the images and added the butterflies but the layout is the same. Mossy Meadow was used to sponge the background and stamp the leaves while Night of Navy was used to stamp the background poppies. The main poppies were coloured with markers as were the butterflies - they were cut out using a punch. I cut the flowers out by hand. A Sassy Salutations sentiment was added to finish it off. Hope you like it - see you soon xx

I've changed the colours on my card along with some of the other elements but I was really pleased with the result.  Here it is It feels like a sunny afternoon in the sand dunes don't you think? Anyway if you like this and would like to have a go a making it yourself I have uploaded a step by step tutorial of my own  HERE  - have a go it;s really quick and easy. I just use sponges and ink and a few post it notes. Thanks for joining me today - see you soon xx

Bits and Pieces Card

Image
Good morning - it's a lovely sunny Monday morning here in Bridgnorth and I have a little card to show you made from some bits and pieces found in my stash drawer. Whenever I get packages in the post from friends that craft they are always beautifully decorated and I can't bear to throw them away. So I hang onto them and use them in my crafting. The card stock - Mint Macaron was sent to me by a lovely friend along with the rest of the new Stampin' Up In Colours and the ribbon and butterfly were on a package from one of my Facebook swap buddies. These snippets always come in useful so never throw them away! See you soon xx

Sheltering Tree Note Cards

Image
Good morning all, hope this horrible rain is not spoiling your day too much! I'm so glad I haven't got to be anywhere today - just spend the day pottering in the dry! Today I have some note cards to share with you made with the Stampin' Up set Sheltering Tree. Four little cards with one layer stamping - take a look I love this set - there's lots of little extras that can be used to create the perfect scene plus the tree can be just bare branches or have leaves or blossom or any colour. Of course now I had the cards - I then needed something to put them in. Out came my envelope punch board and a little envelope package was created This is so quick and easy to make and just needs a bit of ribbon as a finishing touch to keep everything inside neat and tidy Thanks for looking today - hope you'll stop by again soon xx

It's been a while I know and a few have gone but for those that have stayed - thank you. I'm not through the worst yet but I have found solace in crafting. Here is a Waterfall card made recently for a Facebook swap. Colours are mainly Coastal Cabana and Not Quite Navy with a splash of Island Indigo. Also used Whisper White and Calypso Coral. See you soon xx
