Stencilled Stars for Christmas

Good morning everyone thanks for joining me today. I have a Christmas card to share with you - it's my DT card for this week's challenge over on

This week we want to see........

The I made literally took minutes! My craft space is such a mess and it's so cold down there that I had to make something really quick so I could get back into the warmth again!!!
On my desk I happened to find a piece of card stock I had die cut a star out of - very lucky as I still can't find my cutting plates for my Big Shot!!!!
I sponged through the star shape and here is what I made

As I said the stars took minutes to add. I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks and then used a black fine liner pen to add some tiny details.
The glittered star is from an old Christmas kit and the snowflake is one I removed from a card I received at Christmas.
The sentiment is from Bright and Beautiful and I hand drew a frame to finish it off.

I am determined this week to tidy my craft space so I can get back to some serious crafting!
I shall be making some cards for my NEW challenge blog
Our first challenge goes live next Sunday!
Please hop over and take a look - maybe even follow us and take part. It would be lovely to see you over there!

Anything Goes

I've not had much time for crafting lately, Jobseekers and job interviews are taking up most of my time and just recently I have started volunteer work in my local Cancer Research shop.
So when I saw that the challenge this week over on Addicted to Stamps and More was 'Anything Goes', I remembered that I had a card floating around that I hadn't blogged.
It was a card I had made for another challenge a while ago but missed the deadline (I have been doing a lot of that recently!) - take a look

The stamps I have used are from the Summer Silhouettes sets from Stampin' Up and my colours are Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Poppy Parade - all Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look - see you soon xx

Where does all my time go?

If anyone can answer that - I'd be very grateful. I've been very busy this week attending job interviews, unfortunately none were successful - I have another on Monday so fingers crossed.
Any how (before I run out of time again!!!!!) Here is my card for this week's challenge over on
It's a colour challenge and here are the colours April would like us to use

And here is my card

I do have dies to die cut the stars however my craft room is such a mess - I couldn't find my cutting plates and had to cut them out by hand!!!

Please do pop over and take a look at the other cards from the design team - and please leave us lots of comments 'cos we like that!
See you soon xx

Love Card

I have a love card to share with you today although not necessarily for Valentine's Day. I won't be celebrating this year unfortunately but never mind - let's take a look at my card

This card was inspired by the picture inspiration over on the Inkspirational Challenge Blog

I used the Hardwood stamp for my background and the frame from Papaya Collage. I die cut my letters in white and added a tiny gold heart.

Thanks for looking - see you soon xx

Made With Love

Catching up with two challenges today - the first is Sketch Saturday and we are to choose a paste sketch from their achieves. I chose #227

And I am also entering in the Tic, Tac Toe challenge on The Paper Players

Here is my card - using the first line: Flowers, Die Cuts and Yellow

I used a set of Nestabilites to  die cut my squares in some yellow decorative paper and I also used my Window Framelits to die cut my central label.
Kind and Cosy is my stamp set of choice along with  Petite Petals.

Hope you like it - see you soon xx
