Sour Grapes of the Blackberry kind!

Gosh - I am posting late today. My friend Bev came round to play this morning and refused to leave 'till she had finished her card. It was rather stunning but she wouldn't let me photograph it to put on my blog!
Today's card is made using my Simply Said set and is CASEd from one of the past Ideas Book and Catalogue

It's not a complete copy 'cos I changed the colours but it manages to use nearly every stamp in that set! The colours I used were Cherry Cobbler, Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke. I also used the sentiment from Vintage Vogue.
I have a 'man' card to share with you tomorrow - why are they so difficult to cater for? It's my Anniversary card to my husband - we will have been married for 20 years! We did have a little disagreement this morning though - his firm are providing him with a brand new Blackberry phone. I am sooooo jealous - I have been lusting after one of those for ages!     Ooooh another gorgeous creation! These colours make the set look rather sophisticated. About the Blackberry: tell him if you don't get one you'll scweam and scweam until you're thick!

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
