Sketch Week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown

It's a new month at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown and it's my turn to choose the challenges. This week I have a sketch for you

For my first card I have followed the sketch precisely - matting and layering some embossed card stock with a simple Christmas image stamped and coloured with Promarkers

The stamp is from the Papermania Baubles set and the white card stock has been through my Cuttlebug in embossing folders.
My second card is a bit more involved, I have rotated the sketch and done more stamping and inking - take a look

My image is from Hero Arts and I sponged a background as well as adding some stamping to the card stock at the side. Thin strips of card stock were punched with a scallop edge and I added gems to the corners.
Can't wait to see what everyone else does with my sketch - perhaps I will see you over there. Bye for now - Jacqueline xx
