Altered Notebook.

I have a friend's birthday coming up soon and I always like to make her a little something. This year I have made a notebook. I salvaged some pages from an old A4 pad, cut them down to size and bound them together with my Bind it All machine. I decorated the cover with some Stampin' Up DSP - take a look
The paper is from the Springtime Vintage collection and I have teamed it up with some Very Vanilla card stock. The little dotty frame is stamped from the Baby Blossoms set and my flower is made using some die cuts. The edges of the petals have been sponged with Baja Breeze ink.
I am entering this notebook into the challenge over at "Just Us Girls" which has the theme of Altered Notebooks and then I shall wrap it up ready for my friend.
I am away for a few days tomorrow - I am hoping to schedule some posts, whether this will work I don't know - but there's only one way to find out ........see you soon - Jacqueline xx

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
