WOYWW

Good morning everyone welcome to another Wednesday - I'm sure you know that by now Wednesday means you hop over to Julia's blog at the Stamping Ground and spy on all the lovely desks there.
On my desk this morning there is the makings of a Garden Journal. It is the local village Garden Club Show next week and there is a craft section, so I thought I would enter that this year as last year my Victoria Sponge was unclassified! (My daughter's sponge came first and she still gloats about it to this very day!!!)
So as you can see there are various pieces of chipboard, Grungepaper, tags and my precious K & Company papers. Also my favourite gadget - my Bind-it-All - love making things with that.
Also I have this:

I found an old and battered clock and was going to take it apart to use all the cogs and thingies but I don't know if I have the heart to do that. It looks kind of nice as it is don't you think....? Any body got any ideas please?
O.K - so I'm off shopping now but will be back later to peruse some desks - will try to get round more this week as last week I failed rather miserably - bye for now - Jacqueline xx.

  6. Great desk, i too love my BIA, i should really try and use it more lol
as for the clock movement, i would say it makes the base for a rather cool steampunk bug, maybe a ladybird perhaps, the possibilities are endless.

  8. Lovely busy desk there - very creative. Personally I would take the clock to pieces otherwise you will need to dust it (always best avoided that job if you ask me!). I too love my BIA and cant seem to stop making new things with it at the moment - it seems to have spurred me on whilst going through a bit of scrappers block!

  9. I spy K & Co blue awning paper. My precious Toby's scrapbook is a blue awning one. I thought it was more 'manly' which is what he was. As for the clock workings, dismantle it and make wonderous creations instead of letting it accumulate dust.
    Luv Joanne xx

  15. I would rust it and keep it as it is to display - great steampunk piece. Then again - would be great to undo and collage the pieces on a canvas.

  16. You are very brave to have an open cup of coffee/tea in your craft room. I have to have a mug with a lid or disasters will befall my projects.

I love that old clock. It looks like a steampunk piece, or a prone bug. I hope your garden journal does well this year. Good luck and happy WOYWW.
