Cards in a Bag.

Hello folks - such a long time since I last posted. I do have something good to show you though. This was quite a large project but very worthwhile doing as it could make a lovely gift.

This is a bag made from one sheet of 12" x 12" card ( I used Bazzill card stock). The flowers on the ends of the handles are punched using my Stampin' Up five petal flower punch. The instructions for the bag were some I found on You Tube - Splitcoast Stampers - and it quite easily holds four A6 greetings cards.

As well as the greetings cards I also made a little yearbook to match. Here is some pics of the cards:



I used my trusty Pocket Silhouettes stamp set and Simply Said (both Stampin' Up)

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. It also has a gorgeous little fish which I couldn't wait to use - take a look Although I've mostly used blue ink I had added white highlights with a gel pen and then to finish it off a little sparkly blue gem. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
