There is a sketch this week at Less is More - take a look
It's a simple sketch that Mandi and Chrissie want left just as it is - no rotation or reflection and to remain landscape and rectangular.
OK - here is what I did
This is a stamp I've had for years simply stamped in black archival ink. It's shorter than my vertical strip so I matched it up top and bottom. Each of the flowers has a flat backed, clear gem in it's centre.
Here's a close up
Such a pretty stamp and it looks fab in Blk & Whte! Your obviously a neat stamper because it's lined up perfectly...I would never have known if you hadn't said:) Jenny x
Well... the alignment of your stamping is simply faultless... amazing even! This is such a lovely card and in B/W looks terrific! Thanks so much Chrissie "Less is More"
Hola Jacqueline, Beautiful CAS card, i love black and white, your stamp is gorgeouse, the gems are a perfect and elegant touch, well done! A hug from Palma de Mallorca
Fabulous stamp Jacqueline - the black on white is so very classy. You did a great job of matching up the image, and the gems add a beautiful touch of bling! Sylvia x
Yikes - I'm a bit late posting today, but when I got into my studio this morning I had forgotten that it looked like this I had a big family lunch yesterday and 'cos our house is so small, I have to keep stuff moving from room to room in order for there to be enough space. So I got to work straight away and now my desk looks like this There is a hidiously green magnetic board complete with snail magnets that I won in a raffle - just right for altering, some wooden drawer knobs onto which I will attach some foam to use with my disress inks and my chipboard albums from last week that I didn't get round to doing. Also found when clearing from one room to another was my old jewelery display board which will soon be converted to a card display board and an old set of corner shelves. All they needed was a quick flick of a J-Cloth and a spray of Flash (oops advertising - other cleaning products are avaliable) and they now stand proudly in my craft room displaying my most recent cr...
For one reason or another I haven't played this game for a few weeks - you know the one over on Julia's blog - go and see if you don't know what I'm on about. I have missed playing along as I love all the lovely comments left by fellow crafters and so I have purposely made time to join in this week. My work space is quite long and this week I have managed to use up all available surfaces .........with mess! starting at the left hand end This is the devestation left from yestersday's Project Tuesday challenge and some atc making. Moving on This is where I usualy do all my 'messy' crafting hence all the Distress Inks and paints. However at the moment there is a rather large pile of paper work in the way (meeting minutes and accounts etc) - this really needs to be tackled asap - however still moving on This is the other end where I am piling up all the bits and pieces for my workshop tomorrow night - we are doing medallion cards - so much to do so l...
