Side Step Butterfly Card

Yikes - it's cold today. I'm sat at my computer all bundled up in a thick cardi - might even have to have a hot water bottle!!
Today's card is a side step card. I demo'd it at a workshop a while ago and had it made up but not decorated. It uses Stampin' Up Butterfly punch and Pocket Silhouettes stamp set

The little butterflies are from a mini punch and I don't know if you can see but there is some silver thread wrapped around the large butterflies leaving a bit for their antennae. Each panel on the different sections has been sponged with ink before being stamped with the foliage.
I am entering this card into the Flutter By Wednesday's challenge - you need to include a butterfly on your card. Hope you like it, bye for now - Jacqueline xx

  1. A really gorgeous card Jacqueline. Love the butterflies and stamping.
It's freezing down here as well due to strong winds and I too am sat at my desk bundled up in woollies.
Let's hope for a better day tomorrow.
    Hugs, Fliss xx

  2. This is just gorgeous Jacqueline - the sponging is very effective. It's freezing here too but bearing in mind that they're forecasting record lows this winter, I'm saving the hottie and making do with just the blanket for the time being!
