One Stamp - Two Ways.

I have two cards to show you today - both are made using one of my own designs. The first is the stamp just inked with a black ink pad
The next one is not my style at at all usually however I got an idea in my head and I just had to see it through

This was stamped on a piece of white card stock and coloured with Promarkers and then mounted onto black paper. Just the head of the flower was then stamped to make a sort of frame and also coloured with Promarkers. You will also notice that I went a bit mad with the butterflies - I made a bit of a mess with my ink in places and they are covering up all my smudges!!     What a great image Jacqueline! The first card is more my kind of style too but I can appreciate the flamboyance of the second - very festival chic! Vx

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
