Crumb Cake Christmas Card

The very Patricia is hosting this month's challenges at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown and she kicks off with this fab sketch

This is such a lovely sketch - you can really go to town with backing papers and layers or keep it clean and simple - here's what I did with it

Now I don't know if any of you have had the chance to peruse the new catalogue (sneakily placed in my side bar) but you may have noticed the lack of Christmas stamp sets so I'm afraid I've had to resort to a retired set - Come to Bethlehem. The gorgeous sentiment is current though - phew!

Materials - Stampin' Up
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem, Delightful Dozen
Ink: Crumb Cake, Real Red
Card Stock: Whisper White, Real Red, Crumb Cake
(To order any of the above current items or items from the Annual Catalogue please e-mail me on deezinesart@gmail.com - a catalogue pdf can be found in the side bar. Items can be delivered direct to you - just £4.95 p+p any size order. Also see the special offers above in the top tabs - thanks).

Please do pop over and check out the other DT cards and have a lovely weekend - Jacqueline xx

  2. Hi Jacqueline, I have yet to use this stamp although I do love it. I really like how you have stamped it on Kraft and red and Kraft is always a winner to me!

  3. Great colour combination of the crumb cake with red. I thought it odd there were no christmas stamps in the new catalogue but guess there will be a seasonal special mini cat later on. First time I typed this it disappeared so hope you don't get it twice!

  7. Love the classic red, kraft and white color scheme! :) I agree with Ruth - the scripty sentiment goes really well with the curvy baseline of the image. Very nice! :)

  9. Love the new look blog! and the card is gorgeous - red, white and kraft is an awesome combination. It's a shame that stamp is retired, it's one of my favourites as it is so versatile and yet very traditional.
