MMM - Literary Inspiration

This week at Make My Monday Mynnette has chosen a book cover for a bit of Literary Inspiration - take a look

Now not being a lover of the classics (I know shame on me as my daughter would say!) I haven't a clue what this book is all about so at first glance my card may not seem to go with the pic at all

I have used a flourish stamp to echo the swirls in the dress and added some white punched flowers as they can be seen in the trees. A splash of yellow was added in the form of a couple of butterflies and my sentiment echos the book title quite nicely I think - do pop over to the blog as my team mates have made some stunning cards this week all of which do far better justice to the picture than mine.

Materials
Stamps: Everything Eleanor, Made for You
Ink: Crumb Cake, Versamark
Card Stock: Whisper White, Midnight Muse
Paper: Subtles DSP
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones
Other: Label Die, Flower Punch, Butterfly Punch
(Please see the top tabs for all details on how to place a Stampin' Up order)

This is a scheduled post as I am away at the moment, please do forgive me for not commenting as promptly as I should - I hope to catch up later in the week - Jacqueline xx

  1. Pretty card. I'm so pleased I'm not the only one who isn't into classic literature - english lit was my least favourite subject at school!!
