CAS - Colours

We lost a lot of lovely stamps with the launch of this year's Stampin' Up Annual Catalogue however here's one that survived the cut - Summer Silhouettes.
I've used it for this week's challenge over on CAS - Colours & Sketches . I'm the hostess this month that means I get to choose the challenges and here are the colours I have chosen for you this week

And here is my card

I CASEd a few of the elements of this card from THIS ONE I found on Pinterest - it was so quick and easy to make, especially as I had the right tools for the job! I have invested in the Stampin' Trimmer - it makes cutting card stock a doddle (better still it means I'm not gouging tram lines on my cutting mat!). To round off my corners I did use a corner rounder (obviously!) although I also have the envelope punch board which has a corner rounder built in. Having the right tools at your fingertips not only makes crafter quicker and easier, it also makes them look professional - great if you sell your cards.

Materials - Stampin' Up (except corner rounder)
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes
Ink: Basic Gray, Strawberry Slush (stamped more than once before re-inking)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Naturals White
(To order any of the above current items or items from the Annual Catalogue please e-mail me on deezinesart@gmail.com - a catalogue pdf can be found in the side bar. Items can be delivered direct to you - just £4.95 p+p any size order. Also see the special offers above in the top tabs - thanks).

You can also shop directly from my Stampin' Up website - click HERE to take a look.

Thanks for looking today, hope you have time to pop over and take a lok at all the other fab DT work on show, see you soon xx

  1. Pretty card and I like the way the squares are rounded on opposite corners to give an interesting effect to the whole thing. Great stamp set too.

  2. The wispy flowers look great on the rounded panels. This is a beauty, Jacqueline! :)
