"You built a time machine......out of a DeLorean?"

This is one of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite films - I also had a huge crush on Michael J Fox back then too! So really I don't know why it took me so long to figure out what I was going to do for this week's SCI - FI challenge over in The Male Room. It was also very fortuitous that crafty friend Louise was around at mine having a play and had in her bag Rev Up The Fun - check it out - it's a fab set. Here is my card

For anyone not familiar with the film the car drives until it reaches 88 miles per hour and then goes back in time to the date set. I just love the flames coming from the exhaust pipe.

So - I'm back at my mum's for a while again as my poor dad was rushed back into hospital Monday afternoon. He couldn't move and had severe back pain. The good news is that he has been scanned and it's not a re-occurrence of the cancer but the bad news is they are still trying to find out out what is wrong with him. Meanwhile he has to stay completely flat - it sounds like life is going to be very boring for him for a day or two.

  1. So glad you explained your card as I couldn't see what a car had to do with sci-fi! You can tell I'm not a film goer can't you? Sorry to hear about your dad - hope they get it sorted for him soon before he gets too bored.
