A Lovely Surprise

This week I was lucky enough to be honoured with a blog award from one of my lovely blog friends - Mynnette.
Mynnette's blog can be found here and you should really pay her a visit as she is a wonderful crafter. I would also like to thank her very much for giving me the award - it's my first - and you really made my day when I read your blog.
There are rules in accepting the Versatile Blogger award
1) Thank the person who awarded you.
2) Tell 7 things about yourself that your readers may not know.
3) Award 7 other bloggers this award.

OK - so 7 things you may not know about me
1) I'm married to a Priest - although he no longer works for the church, and we live at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire.
2) My favourite drink (although I don't get it very often) is neat Jack Daniels.
3) I set up Make My Monday challenge blog 'cos I had tried and failed to get on anyone else's DT
4) I hate being cold - it makes me very grumpy. It may be June but if I'm cold in bed I will have a hot water bottle!
5) I am a huge Il Divo fan - I am devastated that I can't afford to go and see them when they come to Birmingham next April.
6) I love Vampire stories and TV shows in fact I want to be a Vampire only thing is - I don't eat red meat and I can't stand the sight of blood!!
7) My house is haunted. We live in a cottage that has gradually over the years been added to. The oldest part of the house dates back to the 1600's. I'm not frightened of them, the worst that has happened is that I have been tapped on the shoulder but I have seen things, felt things and smelt things. Who ever it is is very naughty and thinks nothing of waking us up in the small hours by turning the stereo on full blast!

Now the 7 people I would like to pass these awards on to. Remember though if you choose to accept the Versatile Blogger award you must abide by the above rules.
1) Cath in Cyprus. She was one of my first followers nearly 2 years ago and is also one of my Deezine Team.
Speaking of the Deezine Team
3) Suzanne
4) Caz
5) Suzi B
The above ladies make up my brilliant Deezine Team and I would like to say huge thanks to them as I couldn't do it without them.
6) Vicky - she is the dealer for my Stampin' Up addiction and so much more besides. Her blog is so inspirational and she always makes me laugh. Her craft work is exceptional.
7) And last but not least Bev - my best mate. She comes round every week to craft and all we do is gossip and drink coffee and drool over the things we can't afford in the S'U catalogue.

There are so many more people I would like to share these awards with (you especially deserve one if you've read all this!!) all the people who leave such lovely comments on my posts - thank you life is so much more worth while now that I craft and blog - Jacqueline xx
