Stencilled Stars for Christmas

Image
Good morning everyone thanks for joining me today. I have a Christmas card to share with you - it's my DT card for this week's challenge over on 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown This week we want to see........ The I made literally took minutes! My craft space is such a mess and it's so cold down there that I had to make something really quick so I could get back into the warmth again!!! On my desk I happened to find a piece of card stock I had die cut a star out of - very lucky as I still can't find my cutting plates for my Big Shot!!!! I sponged through the star shape and here is what I made As I said the stars took minutes to add. I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks and then used a black fine liner pen to add some tiny details. The glittered star is from an old Christmas kit and the snowflake is one I removed from a card I received at Christmas. The sentiment is from Bright and Beautiful and I hand drew a frame to finish it off. ...

Anything Goes

Image
I've not had much time for crafting lately, Jobseekers and job interviews are taking up most of my time and just recently I have started volunteer work in my local Cancer Research shop. So when I saw that the challenge this week over on  Addicted to Stamps and More  was 'Anything Goes', I remembered that I had a card floating around that I hadn't blogged. It was a card I had made for another challenge a while ago but missed the deadline (I have been doing a lot of that recently!) - take a look The stamps I have used are from the Summer Silhouettes sets from Stampin' Up and my colours are Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Poppy Parade - all Stampin' Up. Thanks for stopping by to take a look - see you soon xx

Where does all my time go?

Image
If anyone can answer that - I'd be very grateful. I've been very busy this week attending job interviews, unfortunately none were successful - I have another on Monday so fingers crossed. Any how (before I run out of time again!!!!!) Here is my card for this week's challenge over on 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown It's a colour challenge and here are the colours April would like us to use And here is my card I do have dies to die cut the stars however my craft room is such a mess - I couldn't find my cutting plates and had to cut them out by hand!!! Please do pop over and take a look at the other cards from the design team - and please leave us lots of comments 'cos we like that! See you soon xx

Love Card

Image
I have a love card to share with you today although not necessarily for Valentine's Day. I won't be celebrating this year unfortunately but never mind - let's take a look at my card This card was inspired by the picture inspiration over on the  Inkspirational Challenge Blog I used the Hardwood stamp for my background and the frame from Papaya Collage. I die cut my letters in white and added a tiny gold heart. Thanks for looking - see you soon xx
